About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team of over 100 Data & BI Engineers working on our innovative Audience Intelligence Platform. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to building the leading data management and analytics platform tailored for the sports industry. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Azure, ADF, Databricks, and Python. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data products that unlock valuable insights, enabling clients to better understand and engage their fans. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, impacting the future of sports and entertainment through innovative data engineering practices. As part of our team, your work will directly influence how organizations grow their audiences and revenues by harnessing the power of data.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing, building, and testing solutions within a data lakehouse environment
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and analytics
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including ADF, Databricks, and Function Apps
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets
- Ability to work within established development frameworks and adhere to coding standards
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a desire to learn from others
