Position: Structural Engineer

Job Summary
The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks, under the supervision of the discipline manager:
- Acting as a discipline officer in multidisciplinary industrial projects;
- Establish and maintain contact with clients to define needs, and present technical information, concepts or study results;
- Perform the designs and calculations of industrial structures in steel and reinforced concrete;
- Supervise and verify the work produced by engineers and technicians. Act as a mentor to CPIs;
- To produce technical opinions and recommendations on complex aspects related to the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures;
- Participate in the design of plans, specifications and details based on guidelines within the framework of industrial structure projects.

- Mastery of the codes and standards in force in Quebec;
- Enjoy working in a team and be able to communicate effectively;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French.
Your Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil and/or construction engineering;
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial structure design;
- To be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Must hold a driver's license for travel to various sites;
- Knowledge of analysis software (SAFI) is an asset;
- Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
