Job Description
Senior Mainframe Developer / Designer with 8+ years experience in IBM mainframe environments, specializing in IMS, DB2, and COBOL with strong end-to-end system design capability.
Expert in JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, IMS (deep knowledge) along with scheduling/tools like CA-7, File-AID, Endevor, INSYNC, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence.
Strong ability to independently perform IMS segment analysis, DB2 object analysis, field mapping, design, development, unit testing, and deployment in enterprise systems.
Proficient problem-solver with strong adaptability, able to work independently in a pod environment; AI-aware with exposure to tools like GitHub Copilot / VSCode, and basic familiarity with modern integrations (Kafka/REST APIs as nice to have).
