Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain Java backend features under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Build API endpoints, validate inputs, and integrate application code with relational databases
• Write unit and integration tests and investigate defects using logs and debugging tools
• Participate in code reviews and document technical decisions and service behavior
Qualification
Required
• Foundational Java and object-oriented programming skills demonstrated through academic, personal, or internship projects
• Understanding of data structures, HTTP APIs, and basic SQL
• Familiarity with Git and a willingness to learn testing and maintainable service design
Preferred
• Exposure to Spring Boot, Maven, or Gradle
• Experience with automated tests, containers, or continuous integration
