Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Stratford, ON for a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, design, and calculations for various projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities include creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating project timelines and ensuring successful execution of projects within established budgets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis, with a strong understanding of design principles
- Experience in Civil Engineering and related fields
- Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with relevant software tools
- Strong ability to perform accurate engineering calculations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address engineering challenges
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
- P.Eng designation with minimum 10 years experience
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry practices
