Controller
The Controller oversees all financial operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and data-driven decision-making. Based in Surrey / Delta BC.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and product cost models.
- Monitor inventory valuation, cycle counts, and related controls to maintain accuracy.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Support operational teams with financial insights to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Prepare cash flow analyses, capital expenditure reviews, and financial reports for leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and GAAP compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary 120-130,000 range base
