Full Stack Developer (GIS)

Survalent is looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Software Developer to join our GIS & Data Integration (GDI) team. The GDI team is responsible for delivering high-performance and intuitive applications to integrate various Geographic Information System (GIS), Customer Information System (CIS), and Industrial Protocols (CIM & Multispeak) data into our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The GIS environment is changing rapidly and these applications are the leading edge of the grid automation process. We are looking for someone to advance our GIS/CIS integration applications and improve our data integrity toolsets for utility customers. Key Responsibilitie

• sWork within the Agile development team to design, develop, and deliver various RESTful APIs and web applications
• .Collaborate with the Product team and other teams to create innovative software solutions and enhance the functionality
• .Optimize applications by applying expertise in debugging, code analysis, and performance profiling
• .Design web application client-side and server-side architecture
• .Ensure front-end code is mobile-friendly (i.e. responsive) and intuitive for users
• .Develop and manage well-functioning databases while safeguarding the sensitive data
• .Design and create test procedures and, test data to go along with the delivered feature
• .Execute testing to ensure the software meets functional requirements and is responsive and scalable
• .Trouble-shoot software issues with an aim to resolve them in a timely manner
• .Write technical documentation such as HLD documents and API swagger documentation
• .Provide support and product knowledge to end users and internal stakeholders
• .Drive technical standards, best practices, and support a culture of continuous improvement
