Description

Shift: Straight Days (7:00AM to 3:30PM); must be available for a 2-week rotation (7:00AM to 3:30PM and 4:00PM to 12:00AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized stockroom
  • Complete and submit daily inventory to Purchasing
  • Manage daily inventory for Custom Finishing
  • Receive incoming materials and verify against documentation
  • Restock and rotate inventory on a daily basis
  • Manage waste disposal, track waste, and report as required
  • Operate reclaimer equipment and oversee reclaiming room
  • Support finishing operations as directed by supervisors or lead hands
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute practical solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes)
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail and quality
  • Numerical accuracy with basic counting and calculations
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions with a customer-focused approach
  • Dependable team player who communicates clearly and works effectively with others
  • Problem-solving mindset with initiative to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and consistently achieve daily production targets

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to wood dust, fumes, power tools, and extreme heat during summer months
