Full Stack Developer (3 Month Contract)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Full Stack Developer to support a digital transformation initiative focused on building a prototype system to enhance internal operational capabilities. This is a contract opportunity where you will work within an Agile sprint environment, delivering incremental, high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Prototype Development
- Develop a functional, deployable application within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
- Build both front-end and back-end components using modern technologies
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for long-term use
Agile Delivery
- Participate in sprint planning, development, reviews, and deployments
- Deliver working, tested features at the end of each sprint
- Contribute to regular team meetings and sprint ceremonies
Cloud & Architecture
- Design and implement application architecture aligned with Azure best practices
- Utilize Azure services such as App Service, Functions, SQL, DevOps, or similar
- Ensure adherence to security and cloud governance standards
Collaboration & Source Control
- Maintain code within GitHub using established branching and pull request practices
- Write clear commit messages and maintain a structured code history
- Collaborate with team members and adapt to feedback in an iterative environment
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience building full-stack applications in Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or similar)
- Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Python or similar)
- Experience with Azure services (App Service, DevOps, SQL, Storage, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-900)
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
Deliverables
- Configure a sprint-ready Azure and GitHub environment
- Develop and deploy prototype components across multiple sprints
- Deliver a fully functional prototype hosted in Azure
- Provide clean, documented code with repository handover
- Submit a final summary of work completed and recommendations
