We are looking for a Senior Developer to join Experian Digital business. The Senior Developer plays a key role in implementing solutions that deliver business benefits for our customers. This includes new prospects and new requests from existing customers, supporting requests, and actively participating in the pre-sales and delivery phases of complex projects.

As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software programs in accordance to requirements and specifications, established or defined quality and performance standards, and within delivery timelines. You may be expected to lead a small team of Developers to work on development projects. The technologies that you will be working with to develop software programs include but not limited to ADO.NET, Entity Framework, the ASP.NET MVC Framework, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), RESTful API and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain software programs:-

          - According to requirements and specifications.

          - Within established or defined quality and performance standards.

        - Within agreed upon delivery timelines.

• If required, to lead a small team of Developers to work on development projects.
• Participate in consultation with Development Leads in estimating effort for work assigned.
• Participate in initiatives that improve processes and/or procedures that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Communicate work progress and all (work related) pertinent information in an accurate and timely manner to the Development Leads
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Associate Developer

As an Associate Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software programs in accordance to requirements and specifications, established or defined quality and performance standards, and within delivery timelines.  The technologies that you will be working with to develop software programs include but not limited to JAVA/J2EE, Spring Framework, .NET, Entity Framework, the ASP.NET MVC Framework, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), RESTful API and Azure.

What you’ll be doing

3. Within agreed upon delivery timelines.

• Python - desirable
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programs.
• Good skills in time and resource management.
• Familiarity with cloud native development (AWS preferred - e.g. ECS, Lambda)
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Spark is a bonus
• Others: DevOps - Jenkins, Terraform

Typical experience 

• 2+ years in software development coupled with tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related discipline. 
• Backend development experience is essential, together with a desire to expand frontend and devops skills.
