JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop detailed designs and layout plans for piping systems based on project requirements, process specifications, and engineering standards
• Select appropriate materials for piping components based on factors such as fluid properties, pressure, temperature, and corrosion resistance
• Perform stress analysis using engineering software to ensure that piping systems can withstand operating conditions, including pressure, thermal expansion, and seismic forces
• Determine optimal routes for piping systems within a facility while considering factors such as equipment layout, accessibility, and maintenance requirements
• Design pipe supports and hangers to ensure proper alignment, stability, and support of piping components
