Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Blackpool
We are seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join our client in Blackpool. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore computer science and develop essential computing skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with computer science standards and objectives.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum across grade levels and disciplines and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or licensure in Computer Science or a relevant subject area.
• Demonstrated expertise in computer programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and computational thinking principles.
• Previous experience teaching computer science at the high school level is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
