1. Contracting & Sourcing: Able to drive complex contract management solutions and influence decision making for management of strategic assets by recommending the optimal contracting strategy, commercial models & effective contract management tactics based on the identified supply chain risks and opportunities.
Supply Chain Intelligence: Plan, optimize and execute end to end sourcing activities by conducting should-cost modelling, supplier industry analysis factoring in business needs and advise on category management strategy.
Responsible Supply Chain: Proficient at evaluating suppliers' performance in areas such as human rights, labour practices, environmental sustainability, health & safety, business ethics, to make conscientious and accountable procurement decisions.
2. Deal Making/Negotiations: Able to develop strategy and lead cross-functional negotiations based on the analysis of the stakeholder landscape and drive total cost reductions for the business. This includes defending category-specific risk and resolving conflicting negotiation positions while maintaining relationships.
3. Commercial Acumen: Capable in motivating decision making by combining deep market intelligence, understanding the impact of trends to the business and the capacity to develop a robust supplier network.

5. Operations Excellence & Compliance: This role is expected to deliver value using the provisions of the Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP). Manage the execution of the complete Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) including Contract Strategy, Tactics and Contract Management activities for the assigned contract portfolio and collaborate with:
- Internal (Shell) stakeholders in development and execution of procurement strategies driving towards value maximization. [Pre-award Phase]
- Internal (Shell) & External (Suppliers) Stakeholders in ensuring delivery of maximum value via each of the awarded contract/commercial deal. [Post-award Phase]

The Cybersecurity Technical Training and Education Director will manage the core training team comprising of Cybersecurity Expert Trainers, a Cybersecurity Instructional Designer, and an Education Programs Registrar. This high-profile leadership role will extend beyond the walls of the CCOE facility to work with the Government of Malaysia, local businesses, universities, and other education partners to advance cybersecurity knowledge and technologies in Malaysia, and to help Malaysia become a cybersecurity leader for the Indo-Pacific region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
At the helm of the CCOE, the Cybersecurity Technical Training and Education Director will:
Be responsible for overseeing all cybersecurity training program offerings provided through the CCOE, including product training, cybersecurity skills training, lab environments, assessments, and certifications.
Have oversight on the content and branding of training curriculum and asset library to ensure it meets the needs of BlackBerry and the Government of Malaysia.
Manage the day-to-day operations at the facility including hiring, onboarding, ongoing professional development, and performance management of the core Cybersecurity Technical Training and Education team.
Work to build close relationships with vendors including SANS Institute and Instructional Design agencies.
Lead the implementation of the tech-stack required to support internal trainers and students.
Invite cybersecurity guest speakers to speak in the facilities’ auditorium and work with marketing to promote these speaking events as well as other networking events.
Partner with Government of Malaysia and universities to develop a government-approved accreditation program for the CCOE.
Liaise with local universities and educational institutions to build lasting-relationships and influence their education needs leveraging the CCOE curriculum.
Build and nurture the CCOE Community of Practice to drive memberships and professional networking, recruitment, talent development, thought leadership events, and be the ambassador for the CCOE Community of Practice.
Establish and distribute regular reporting about visitors to the centre as well as report back to BlackBerry HQ and the Government of Malaysia about the effectiveness of the training programs provided.
Have full P&L responsibility and budget control for the CCOE.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of cybersecurity leadership in the field of Education or Technical Training, including managing a team with diverse skills and expertise.
10+ years of program management, and operations experience and/or training experience with Bachelor Degree
Experience interacting with external audiences from professional and higher education backgrounds as well as Government officials.
