Overall Job Function
Responsibilities
1. Provide pre-sales support activities such as Technology Updates and Product training to sales staff consisting of internal and external parties.
2. Handling customer complaints or any major incidents, mainly after sales support
3. Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by service staff.
4. Providing help and advice to customers on companys’ products.
5. Developing customer service procedures, policies and standards for company
6. Monitor and evaluate outsourced service provider for constant technical competency and compliance with standards and strategies of the company
7. Manage internal IT equipment and ensure the operation of all IT related equipments in proper working condition
8. Approves the acquisition of computer hardware and software to ensure items are in compliance with standards and strategies of the company
9. To provide standby consumables forecast to channel team on monthly basis.
10. To liaison with appointed consultant in obtaining SIRIM certification.
11. To participate in adhoc projects or assignments as directed by the Country Manager and Managing Director.

Job Responsibilities
This position is working within the technical IT team,who are responsible for building and supporting in-house developed applications used by areas such as product control, P&L production, Reporting and Independent Price Verification among others. your role will be the first line of support for the product control business function.
Key Duties:
*Perform in-house application testing.
*Conduct specification study on customer' requirements.
*Trouble shoot and resolve technical issues related to applications.
*Ensure software bugs and probelms are resolved.
*Documentation of application software for training purposes.
*Perform investigation on software issues reported.
*Provide on-site and phone/email support to customers.
*Attend meeting with customers.
Candidate & skills required
This position will suit a graduate or entry-level candidate with exposure to a heavily regulated environment, ideally financial services.
Ideal candidate must possess a Diploma/degree qualification in Computer Science or IT engineering.
Possess working knowledge of SQL Database,uniVerse and basic network configuration skills.
Experience working in an IT support environment.
Knowledge in Non-life/General insurance business process is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
