To prepare and maintain daily site progress.
To arrange with Machinery Department for mobilize or service and repair of machinery, equipment or plants at job site and other facilities and utilities.
To liaise with Safety Department for implementation and maintain safety requirement at site.
To supervise and monitor sub-contractor progress of work at site.
To check any discrepancies between structure, architecture & M&E drawing and highlight to consultant.
To liaise with Purchasing Manager for purchasing of building materials at site.
To arrange and conduct sub-contractor meeting as well as attend other technical interface meetings with clients and consultants.
To review structural drawings. To prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI) to consultant for inspection.
To vet the approved method statement or work instructions.
To ensure timely submission of shop drawings and follow-up preparation of As-Built Drawings and material samples submission at site.
To carry out quality inspection for work done by sub-contractors at site as well as maintaining such records.
To ensure corrective actions arising from customer complaint and non-conformance is implemented within the stated time frame.
To carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
To recommend corrective action on work progress and verify claims for project.
To issue site memo and NCRs to sub-contractors.
To close-up all customer complaint, internal and external NCRs by client or consultants.
To reject material delivered to site which is not accordance to specification or poor quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is required for this position.
Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, Primavera
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage)
Willing to work at Genting

Job Description

The Technology and Innovation Engineer is an application developer that receives requirements from Management and Sector Leads and develops solutions per requirements. This role assists in driving proficiency within the team, assures best practices are followed, and supports the delivery of quality solutions in wastewater treatment, biogas and waste management industries.

To conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and customer needs.
To identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and visitations.
Meets clients or potential clients to understand their pain points and / or needs and identifies opportunities for innovation.
To build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Reviews and evaluates new technologies that may be beneficial to current and upcoming project work
Participates in the technical design review process to ensure high quality technical designs
Designs solutions on an enterprise level with medium level of guidance
To conduct product presentations and provide consultants to potential clients.
Assures best practices are defined and followed
Works in laboratory for R&D work
Works at project job sites
Performs and supports other duties and responsibilities of team members as required
Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
Travels within Malaysia and overseas
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Civil Engineering or its equivalent
Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the industry of Wastewater Treatment / Biogas / Waste Management / Resource Utilization or other related industries
Freshly graduate students are also encouraged to apply for this position
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), knowledge of AutoCAD Software is an advantage.
