HydroTeam KU Leuven is a multidisciplinary group of students united by a passion for motorsport, technology and sustainability. With 10 full-time engineers and over 50 part timers, the team is designing and building a hydrogen-powered race car with the bold ambition of competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by 2030.
As an Electronics & Software Engineer, you will design the electronic backbone of our car, developing and implementing the vehicle’s electronic systems. You will collaborate closely with other departments to integrate sensors and other electronic components they require. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing controllers, for example, for the fuelling system, and edge devices for the communication team.
PROFILE
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
Experience in PCB design is a plus
Experience in the design and implementation of electronic circuits
Background in control systems: experience
with PLCs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers is a plus.
Good communication skills to collaborate with other departments.
