About the Role
We’re seeking a driven Full Stack Developer (.NET/Blazor/Azure) to join our client’s modernization journey. This freelance role places you at the heart of cloud-native transformation, where your expertise will directly shape the next generation of scalable, secure, and efficient applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET Core Blazor applications within the Azure cloud ecosystem
- Translate requirements from analysts, project managers, and architects into actionable development plans
- Monitor and optimize Azure services and containers, ensuring efficiency through automation, scalability, and proactive monitoring
- Resolve technical issues and provide hands-on support for the applications you manage
- Implement new functionalities, perform code reviews, and contribute to quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle
- Apply standard modules and best practices as defined by the Cloud Center of Excellence, with a focus on efficiency and compliance
- Maintain and optimize existing applications from both operational and financial perspectives
- Collaborate within agile teams, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in .NET (C# 8.0+) and REST API development (ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs)
- Experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET Core Blazor applications (minimum 1 year is a plus)
- Solid understanding of modern architectures: microservices, serverless, SOLID principles, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SignalR, Redis, Blazor/CSS (Bootstrap, HTML5), Dapr, Docker, NServiceBus
- Familiarity with centralized source code version control systems such as Git (a plus)
- Ability to work with and configure AI agents (a plus)
- CI/CD pipeline experience and Agile methodologies
Language Proficiency
- Native proficiency in either Dutch or French
- Upper-intermediate (B2) oral and written proficiency in the second language (French or Dutch)
Other Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing .NET applications in Agile environments
- Team player with strong communication skills in both technical and business contexts
- Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn and grow
- Partial remote work available
- Freelance contract, initial duration 5 months with possibility of extension
- Location: Belgium
