Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable applications within a microservices architecture. Your role will include:
- Actively contributing to software quality through testing, debugging, and automation
- Coaching team members and promoting best practices
- Collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and QA professionals
- Documenting work and sharing knowledge across the team
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The perfect fit for this position will have extensive experience in application development and the ability to lead a development team effectively. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in scalable application development
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CSS, JavaScript, Docker, Microservices, NodeJs, RabbitMQ, and React
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, and an understanding of Agile methodologies, ideally with a leading role
- Experience with Elixir, Redis, and AI coding tools is a plus
- Experience in the law enforcement sector and handling large data volumes is advantageous
Fluency in Dutch (CEFR level C2) and English is required.
