About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Freelance) to join our client’s mission-driven team for a high-impact, 2-month project in Belgium. You’ll be at the forefront of developing innovative web applications on Azure, directly contributing to solutions that harmonize technology, people, and the environment. What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and deploying new web applications on Azure, leveraging modern cloud-native architectures.
- Collaborating with the InfraSquad product team to integrate infrastructure knowledge into custom Java applications, including Project Development and Reduction Simulator tools.
- Building and maintaining scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java (17/21), Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Implementing front-end solutions with Angular, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust UX design.
- Utilizing Azure DevOps, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and Docker for CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration.
- Working with GIS data types and integrating geospatial functionalities into applications.
- Ensuring code quality through advanced testing practices (JUnit), version control (GIT), and adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Collaborating onsite with the team 2–3 days per week to maximize project success and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer, with a strong track record in both backend and frontend development.
- Builder mindset: ownership, initiative, and a passion for solving complex problems that drive real-world impact.
- Ability to thrive in Agile environments, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing.
- Availability to work onsite in Belgium 2–3 days per week for the duration of the project.
Language Proficiency
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
Other Requirements
- Freelance position – 2-month contract.

- Agile/Scrum experience is essential.
- Onsite presence in Belgium required 2–3 days per week.
