Pros: The best part about working at d&p has been the people. The team culture in the Ghent office is genuinely supportive and collaborative. I felt welcomed from day one and received a lot of help from my colleagues, especially when I was new to the consulting industry. There are many interesting projects, and you get to learn a lot about different business areas quickly. The flexibility offered for hybrid work is also a major plus.
Cons: While there's a lot of on-the-job learning, the path for career growth feels a bit ambiguous. It's not always clear what steps are needed to advance to the next level, and formal training programs could be more robust. Sometimes project demands can lead to longer days, though this is usually managed well within the team context. Improving visibility on career trajectories would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider developing clearer, structured career development frameworks and more formalized mentorship programs to help employees see and achieve their growth potential within the company.
