Customer satisfaction is key to develop customer relations and Airbus services, it is also one of the pillars of Airbus’ strategy. The Airbus Regional Head of Customer Support (RHoCS) plays a key role to:

• Lead the team of Customer Support Directors (CSDs) and Regional Field Service (FS) teams;
• Develop personal relations with key Airbus customers’ senior and top management;
• Voice the regional customers’ requirements inside Airbus and escalate accordingly in the S organisation and notably all Business Lines (BLs);
• Promote and enhance Safety of Airbus aircraft operations by our Customers;
• Drive and improve Customer satisfaction in APAC.
• Unique to APAC region, the position also oversees and manages the activities of the supplier support team.

Job Description

The RHoCS is accountable for the application and consistency of the documented processes of Set-up, Deploy and Monitor customer support. The RHoCS also has a personal role to play in customer relationship management by acting as an escalation path, a facilitator, and ensuring that all customers in the region are treated in-line with Airbus’ strategy.

The primary responsibilities of the RHoCS are listed below.

Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through:

• Encouraging and guiding the CSD to lead the In-Service Core Team (ISCT) to develop and execute a customer in-service strategy as part of the customer’s Global Account Strategy (GAS).
• Prioritising and overseeing the execution of actions in response to feedback received, including as part of the Customer Satisfaction Improvement Programme (CSIP).
• Overseeing support and service activities throughout the lifecycle such as Entry Into Service (EIS), delivery of services, aircraft transfer etc., stepping-in to provide assistance to the ISCT when issues are foreseen or encountered.
• Ensures that the Customer Support team is actively and constantly monitoring the aircraft operations so that safety and fleet operations reliability deviations can be anticipated and corrective action plans launched in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensures that the Customer Support team can deliver Customer support based on Airbus value and the code of conduct, and in accordance with processes, technical constraints and commercial targets defined by the Company.
• Proposes and defines new business solutions, processes and commercial approaches in case the existing ones cannot address Airbus or customers’ expectations.
• Responsible to continuously listen and understand the market expectations in the region so that the right products and services offering can be developed to meet and anticipate customers’ needs.
• Oversees, coordinates and manages the activities of the supplier management team in APAC, in close engagement with the Central teams.

Foster the Customer Support team through:

• Translating and connecting the team to Airbus’ strategy.
• Seeking opportunities to empower, delegate and develop the team and individuals.
• Monitoring health and safety.
• Following and encouraging the application of Airbus’ values.
• Foster team spirit.
• Managing resources and budget in accordance with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

Synchronise Airbus’ and the Customer’s Operations through:

• Representing Airbus Senior Management in-front of customers’ management to ensure aligned Airbus communication and actions.
• Explains Airbus strategy and positioning in terms of Customer Support and Services. Ensures Customers perception and concerns are properly fed back into the Airbus organization and taken into account so as to facilitate continuous improvement as well as new services development.
• Working with the Customer Affairs (Aircraft Sales) organization to ensure that the roles and responsibilities of the participants to the Global Account Management Team (GAM-T) are appropriate, well understood, and followed.
• Working with other Airbus Business Units (BUs) to ensure the customer interface and approach is aligned.
• Continually assessing and proposing improvements to the “Set-up, Deploy and Monitor Customer Support” process.
• Acting as an escalation path to assist the ISCT to obtain company support to solve difficult customer issues.
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting of Customer operational and product safety concerns.
• Providing accurate, timely and relevant reports on customer and Airbus activities.
• Making commercial decisions and recommendations to best support Airbus and the customers’ interests.

Job Requirements

• Degree in an aeronautical related discipline or business.
• At least 10 years’ experience or knowledge of airline operations, product support, customer support and services, aerospace related training, aircraft or support engineering, aerospace related technical sales and marketing, project management.
• Past Airline or Aircraft manufacturer experience on the technical, as well as on the commercial side would be an advantage.
• Particularly and highly concerned by customer support, service and service-minded.
• Good presentation and negotiation skills, written and spoken. Ability to speak other languages is a bonus.
• Result oriented, able to work autonomously and with short deadlines.
• Recognized managerial and leadership skills, ability to build and develop effective cross-functional team work, work with multiple stakeholders and perform in a multicultural environment.
• Strong ability and sense to build vision and strategy.
• Project management experience.

The Type Rating Instructor (TRI) / Type Rating Examiner (TRE) is responsible to instruct and/or check airline crew converting to Airbus on all operational, technical and performance aspects for a specific type (or types). The contract is based in Singapore. The Instructor/Examiner is also responsible to assist the Head of Training with other training related duties when assigned.

The instructor will conduct flight training and simulator training for various international customers. Commuting is not possible. She/he will represent Airbus in front of the operators, and in front of the Authorities. The Airbus TRI-TRE could work with different teams across the world and will have opportunities to develop her/his expertise in various fields and roles, including management / project positions.

Job Responsibilities

• Instruct airline crew converting to Airbus on all operational and technical aspects for a specific type (or types) using Flight Training Devices, Fixed Base Simulators, Full Flight Simulators, Aircrafts, Lecture rooms, in order to ensure their capability to carry out safely and correctly all normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities.
• Conduct theoretical training for type-rating courses, flight operations courses and aircraft performance
• Adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardisation as required by Flight Development and Flight Standardization & Policy.
• Instruct and/or check the crews within the defined time limits.
• Evaluates the crews’ progression.
• Decides, if required, on the necessity to accord extra training to achieve the required level of proficiency and competence as defined in the training objectives.
• Conduct Base Trainings for airline crew on applicable Airbus aircrafts.
• Conduct Line Trainings (Initial Operating Experiences, IOE) for airline crew on applicable Airbus aircrafts.
• Conduct aircraft type rating skills test, license proficiency checks or operator proficiency checks on applicable Airbus aircrafts type
• Participate in review or development of training programme as assigned by HOT.
• Conduct assessments of instructors.
• Conduct standardization duties if appointed as Airbus Standardizer.
• Maintain a high level of airmanship to teach in a multicultural environment.
• Assist with flight training audits and FSTD fly-outs and qualifications.
• Any other duties as assigned by Head of Training.

• Hold an EASA ATPL License
• Hold an EASA Medical Class 1 certificate
• Hold a valid EASA Type Rating on the relevant Airbus aircraft type
• Hold a valid EASA Instructor certificate on the relevant Airbus aircraft type unrestricted (LIFUS or Landing Traing)
• Hold a valid EASA Examiner certificate on the relevant Airbus aircraft type is a plus
• Hold or have held a Low Visibility Operations qualification (at least one auto land in Airbus FBW aircraft as Captain)
• Hold or have held an ETOPS qualification
• With minimum 8000 hours as Pilot
• With minimum 5000 hours on jet large aircraft
• With minimum 2500 hours as Captain on Airbus aircraft

Airbus Customer Services Technical Data (SID) is in charge of delivering maintenance manuals to customers which are critical components of the aircraft delivery. 

Our operational unit develops, delivers and supports aircraft maintenance documentation directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO Maintenance Repair Operations, lessors). 

Technical Data is organized in 3 authoring domains and 5 local lines (France, Germany, India, Spain, United Kingdom).

You will join the Technical Data Airframe Authoring Line in France (Skywise Campus, Blagnac), within "Structure Maintenance & Repair Parts" team (SIDS25) for A350, A320 family, A380 and A330/A340.

We are responsible for these 3 Technical data :

• Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC),

• Structural Repair Manual Identification (SRM Ident.),

• Illustrated Parts List (IPL) for the Airbus Component Maintenance Manual (CMMm).

As Technical Data Engineer, your main missions will be:

• Technical Leader on several programs, ensuring the interface between our subcontractors and the team.

• Technical coordinator of TDEs within the team. 

• Analyse and collect source data (MPM, Service Bulletin, Concession, Customer Originate Change, ...) to prepare the updates on IPC, IPL and SRM ident 

• Launch the work orders to the subcontractors in charge of the Technical Data authoring

• Support the subcontracted activities, and check the quality of the deliveries (by sampling)

• Ensure the technical interface with Design Office, Service Bulletins, Engineering support, Final Assembly Line, Risk Sharing Partners, ...

• Provide answer to Customer's queries (Airlines, MRO,...) via Tech Requests

• Propose, define and follow continuous improvement with a local and/or transnational approach.

• Contribute to Technical Data projects and development

RESPONSIBILITIES 

-    Guide the implementation of the first installation with the feedback received from the workshop. 
-    Create/Update the BoM/routings/SOI taking into account the workshop needs, time calculation and complying with the Golden Rules of Work Preparation in accordance with the applicable processes.

-    Support continuous shop floor improvements by providing expertise in work preparation when issues are not managed at the shop level by technical support. 
-    Provide support to the PPE in: *Evaluating the industrial impacts of the modifications; *Transforming industrial requirements to design and the supply chain. 
-    Responsible for configuration management support. 
-    Organize and support P-FMEA/FMEA - Depending on the division, provide technical knowledge to the DPE. 
-    Within the ME role, in supply chain management, guarantee total and effective consistency of data (e.g. lost parts, stock, impact of materials planning).

Tâches et responsabilités:

In order to support the international ERP-Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for one or more

IT-Expert SAP/ERP (d/w/m)

You will be part of the ERP Delivery Center and will be responsible for national and international SAP solutions based on one or more SAP platforms: S/4 HANA Core, ECC6 and SAP Public Cloud. We want to extend the functional SAP competence center and seek for support in the area of Customer Services (CS) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) as well as for Export Control and Global Trade Services (GTS).

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Supervise, support & coach the other members of your SAP domain
• Organise your SAP support domain (provide KPI, ensure application of the SLA)

Required Competencies:

• Minimum 3 years of expertise in SAP as functional expert in IT or Business Key User
• Basic knowledge in ABAP/4-programming to easen the collaboration with developers
• German and English fluent is mandatory. Other European languages (French, Spanish) are a plus.
