The Role

The Director, High Velocity Sales is responsible for the overall sales growth strategies and results of AspenTech’s High Velocity Sales in APJ. Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Strategy:

- Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs within the renewable energy equipment sector.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and achieve revenue targets.

2. Customer Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including renewable energy project developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and government agencies.

- Understand customer requirements and tailor product offerings to meet their specific needs.

3. Product Knowledge:

- Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, staying updated on the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies.

- Provide technical expertise to customers, addressing inquiries and offering solutions.

4. Sales Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a sales team, setting clear goals and KPIs, and providing guidance to achieve targets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

5. Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our footprint in the renewable energy equipment market.

- Develop and negotiate contracts, proposals, and agreements with clients and partners.

6. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses, presenting findings to senior management.

- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve business performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

- Proven track record of at least 8 years of successful sales and business development experience in the renewable energy equipment sector.

- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to lead and inspire a sales team.

- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel as needed to engage with customers and partners.

Job responsibility

• Establishes and maintain relationships and effectively communicate with customers, especially C-level profiles, business unit leaders and senior management to raise visibility and ensure collaboration with appropriate key stakeholders
• Develops annual sales plan in support of Orgaisation strategy and objectives
• Identifies and works with Executive Management to recognize internal and external opportunities and solutions
• Defines and executes strategies to support the vision and leadership of Organisation
• Ensures communications are coordinated and supports sales plan objectives
• Prioritizes and drives sales strategies across multiple teams and phases to ensure that customer solutions are aligned with business objectives
• Implements and manages multiple channel selling strategies and recommends improvements based on market research and competitor analyses

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years experience in selling IT Services in Singapore
• Experienced in managing a portfolio of 30M USD and above
• Experienced in signing a single large deal (TCV) 20M USD and above
• Has been working for large IT Services companies
• Determines gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volumes.
• Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results however, this is an individual contributor to achieve personal sales target.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As the Legal Director for our Client, a brokerage and investment bank, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, and supporting business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with brokerage and investment banking activities.
• Contract Management, Lead the generation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and terms of business.
• Negotiate and review customer contracts and agreements to optimize terms and mitigate legal risks.
• Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
• Interact with regulatory bodies and manage regulatory examinations, inquiries, and reporting.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Provide legal advice and support on new business initiatives, product development, and strategic projects.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure legal considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a reputable institution, admitted to practice in one or more Commonwealth jurisdictions, including Singapore.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a brokerage or investment bank.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including securities laws, derivatives regulations, and banking laws.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage legal teams and provide strategic legal advice to senior management.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.
• Experience in handling litigation, regulatory matters, and contract negotiations in the financial industry.
