Network and storage infratsructure support experience
3 Months contract
Melbourne - CBD
Short term contract with a Victorian State Government Department to assist with their network and storage infrastructure.
Providing IT support for internal staff members which will include solving technical problems, managing client expectations, forming productive relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of service.
Design, install, maintain and support LAN, WAN, VoIP, VM, and storage infrastructure at all sites.
Undertake daily maintenance, reporting and monitoring of IT infrastructure and associated technologies.
Conduct technical research and analysis to solve problems and improve performance and productivity and maintain current technical skill and environmental knowledge.
Create and maintain network documentation, maintain hardware and software standards.
- Engineer unified communications services and perform technical support focussed on upgrading voice and video services, SIP, CCTV, multicasting.
To be successful in this role you muct have the below skillset:
Proven experience in infrastructure management, network design, IT facilities management, asset management, knowledge management, and financial management.
Proven experience with the majority of the following technologies - Cisco technologies including CUCM, Translation Patterns, SRST, Unity, Presence, IM, ExpressWay, Gateways H323/MGCP, SIP, CUBE, Extension Mobility, Routing & Switching. Desirable - VMWare, CommVault, Microsoft technologies including Exchange, SCCM, ADFS
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in Cisco VoIP technologies.
