Charthouse Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher - Primary - Information Technology to join their school. As part of a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community and enjoy a real sense of achievement.
Charthouse PS is located close to the beaches of Warnbro Sound and caters for children from early childhood to Year 6.
This position will require candidates to have a strong evidence based teaching approach, knowledge and ability to implement the Western Australian Curriculum, strong competencies in literacy and numeracy, have sound behaviour management skills and a repertoire of instructional strategies to engage and motivate student learning. Experience in teaching students through the integration of technology, including robotics and coding, would be highly desirable. A willingness to coach and support other teachers to embed technology into their classroom practice would be also be highly desirable.

Our school has highly practical and flexible learning and teaching spaces with specialist facilities including a Digital Technologies Centre, art room and music room. Students of all year levels actively participate in our highly successful physical education program, while students from Years 3 to 6 are immersed in Indonesian as a Language other than English.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
