Product Overview
CAE Civil Flight Services provides a comprehensive suite of digital solutions that help airlines and business aircraft operators efficiently plan operations, deploy personnel, and optimize performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Our ecosystem brings together CAE, Merlot, RB Group, and Airline Operations Portfolio solutions, addressing three major markets: Commercial Aviation, Business Aviation, and Crew Engagement.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain complex relational database solutions
Create and optimize database schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions
Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability
Monitor database systems and proactively address performance or capacity issues
Research and suggest innovative database products, services, and features
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in developing and administrating sophisticated databases
Strong experience with MS-SQL database development, including T-SQL programming.
Solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques, understanding of transactions, indexing, locking, and concurrency
Hands-on experience with T-SQL, developing complex database structures, stored procedures, functions, etc.
Base knowledge related to database administrating
Knowledge of database development cycle
Proven hands-on experience with .net, AWS, Powershell - is a plus
