Full Stack Developer | Next.js & Node.js | AI Fintech
I am working with an AI fintech startup building AI-driven loan brokerage software. They are looking for a Full Stack Developer to take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining core components of their application platform.
This is an in-person role for a developer with 1-3 years of experience who wants to work on new builds rather than legacy code.
The Role
- Build responsive interfaces using Next.js and React.
- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using the Node.js ecosystem (Express, Koa).
- Structure models and optimize queries in MongoDB for high-volume transactions.
- Translate high-level requirements into technical specifications and ship customer-facing features.
- Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain documentation.
Technical Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Experience designing and working with MongoDB.
- Ability to architect and build solutions independently.
Position Details
- 100% In-person. This is 5-days in the office.
- Startup; fast-paced; greenfield project.
- You will be responsible for setting engineering standards and choosing the tooling for the core platform.
- You must have full working rights within Australia and must be located in Sydney to be considered for this role. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
