Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of software and technical design
- Implement strategy to ensure high quality code and long-term maintenance of a product's code base
- Provide expert technical advice on software development and maintenance
- Oversee the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance for the team’s developments
- Drive analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities
- Review and approve proposed solutions and undertake high-level impact analysis of technical requirements, to support project evaluation
Technical skills
- Java, JEE, JSP, JSF, JavaScript, Angular, CSS, JQuery, JAVA Spring framework, JPA & JDBC, SQL, SOAP, DB2, RESTful Services, CI/CD, Bamboo, ALM, SVN, GitLab
- Full stack developer
- RESTful web services & API-C (API Connect), Db2 & MQ
- Knowledge of code versioning tools, particularly Git
- OpenShift/Kubernetes, networking & storage infrastructure
- Experience building & maintaining Linux containers (System Administration of the Linux operating system)
