Your New Role

At Aware Super, we're on a mission to help Australians get more from their super and we're looking for a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to drive that mission forward through world-class engineering practices.

In your new role, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and monitoring solutions
• Champion DevSecOps best practices across the organisation, ensuring security is embedded at every stage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the software development lifecycle
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps capabilities
• Drive risk-aware engineering by embedding compliance and security frameworks into delivery

How do you exceed our expectations?

You're a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and automation, who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. You bring a strong background in software development, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead and inspire a team while embedding security and compliance into every stage of the development lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A strong background in software development and DevOps culture
• Deep expertise in CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Sound understanding of cloud security best practices
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Agile mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
