About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Flutter Android Developer to join our Melbourne-based team.
You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using Flutter, primarily targeting the Android platform. This role requires close collaboration with product, design, and backend teams and regular in-office engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for Android platforms
- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality, scalable code
- Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers
- Participate in code reviews and improve development standards
- Support application releases and ongoing maintenance
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years of professional experience in mobile application development
- Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart
- Solid understanding of Android development concepts and lifecycle
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Understanding of state management, app architecture, and performance optimisation
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working on Lottery, Gaming, or Regulated Industry applications
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work from the Melbourne office at least 3 days per week
- Australian working rights are mandatory
