Junior Full Stack Engineer

Pentana Solutions has been powering the Australian automotive industry for over 50 years. We're continuing to invest significantly in our product, further enhancing our existing platform with a modern AI-led approach. Around 1 in 3 of our staff use internal AI tools every business day. The opportunity:

You'll build hands-on experience inside a product squad, working across the stack, HTMX on the front end and back-end work in C#/.NET on Azure, as the squad needs. You won't be boxed into one side, you'll build breadth deliberately as part of how this role is designed.

You'll be mentored closely by senior engineers already shipping real product on this platform. This is a genuine place to build real experience fast, not a side project or a maintenance gig.

If you've got 1 to 3 years under your belt and you're hungry to build real product with a team that'll actually teach you, this is built for you.

You'll work inside a squad alongside a product manager, BA, QA, senior engineers and your squad lead, with plenty of support around you while you build your depth.

What you'll bring:

• 1-3 years' professional software development experience, front-end or full-stack, we care more about trajectory than years.
• Genuine energy and enthusiasm, you want to learn and build, not just clock in.
• Some exposure to a modern front-end framework or a genuine full-stack foundation, you don't need deep experience on both sides yet.
• AI-native ways of working. You build with AI, prompt it well, and use it to move faster and troubleshoot. If you'd rather write everything from scratch by hand, this isn't the place.
• Comfortable being coached and taking direction early on, and keen to earn more ownership as you grow.

What to expect:

Two things to know going in. First, we build with AI, scaffolding and troubleshooting with it as standard.

Second, this is build, build, build against fixed timelines on a two-year programme. You won't be thrown in the deep end alone, senior engineers are right there with you, but expect real pace from day one, not a slow ramp.
