As an Application Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging technical design with customer satisfaction. Armed with deep product knowledge and market-specific expertise, you'll ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations. 1. Report to
The engineers and specialists in the COE team report to the ‘Head of COE Electrification DPD APR’, which is reporting to the head of Asia Pacific and India for the drives segment within Danfoss.
Our team is a flat organization with short reporting lines. We work as an op team, that focuses on thrust and results.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to our sales managers in pre-sales activities.
- Designing electrical systems based on drives/power converters; and integrating them to motors, grid connections, batteries, etc.
- Explore system simulations and other electrical studies.
- Build systems in our application development center and get them working as intended.
- Travel to ports, power plants, factories, ships, etc. to commission systems and on-site troubleshooting.
- Training of our customers and colleagues on Danfoss products and applications.
- Assist sales managers to secure projects.
- Execution of the project to customers’ satisfaction.
3. Key Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, with relevant work experience.
- Willing to travel locally and regionally to customer sites (office, testbed, industrial sites, on board vessels, etc).
- Independent, self-motivated and results oriented.
- Up to date with office 365 (not limited to just Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and able to use applications to full modern-day possibilities.
- Experience with Matlab is a benefit.
