About the Role
The CMS Disputes Group in Singapore are looking to hire a senior lawyer to work with the local litigation partners and international Insurance and Reinsurance Partners on supporting work in the Singapore market.
Key areas of work include: (i) wide ranging professional indemnity disputes (particularly defending claims against finance professionals, solicitors, insurance brokers and construction professionals); (ii) financial lines, W&I, marine, reinsurance and cyber risks; (iii) complex policy coverage matters and (iv) insurance advisory (including drafting and advising on binding authority agreements, claims handling agreements, service agreements and TOBAs).
You will have the opportunity to work with an enviable client base, including many of the leading insurers and major brokers, as well as many leading partners.
The team are known for being highly commercial in their advice and offer the prospect of working closely with key clients, alongside being encouraged to develop your own contacts/network in the market.
About You
The right individual will have 6 PQE+ gained at a City, insurance, major regional or leading international firm with strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in developing works steams and clients.
You will have excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver practical and commercial advice. Due to the role being client facing, you will need to have sound judgement and good interpersonal and project management skills.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Center Manager and functional to the PS Assistant Controller, this role is responsible for the financial operations of the 3 Manufacturing Centers in Singapore, Subang and Batam.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Internal controls, compliance with company policies & procedures, SOX compliance, insuring complete accounting & finance integrity.
- Document and implement the finance and accounting processes and policies to include business case, financial ownership, financial and operations processes, deadlines and responsible for reporting.
- Provide financial advisory role to Operations and guide financial decisions by establishing financial process, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Hubs to support the plant accounting, error resolution, process changes and policy implementation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of relevant experiences, of which 3 years are in a similar capacity.
- Background in an oilfield environment, especially within the drilling products sphere will be highly advantageous.
