The Paid Marketing & Media team develops and executes full-funnel national media campaigns in support of the Choice Hotels parent brand through digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels. Your Responsibilities
Assist the paid media campaign planning and execution:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of teams and stakeholders in the development of paid campaign strategy, tactics, optimizations, tracking and reporting.
- Oversee and validate deliverables such as revised media plans, campaign reporting, vendor pixels, program details, creative deadlines, partner tagging information, budget documents and other items as needed.
- Demonstrate mastery of display, mobile and social advertising opportunities and the nuances of each as it relates to buying methods, KPIs, and measurement, and tracking.
- Manage media invoice processing including accruing completely and accurately, processing received invoices timely, and managing monthly budget tracker against actualized spend.
- Evaluate 3rd party advertising and technology vendors to understand their position in the marketplace and opportunities strategically relevant to Choice media campaigns.
Assist with Campaign Measurement, Data Management and Advertising Technology:
- Partner with our analytics teams to provide measurement updates, track learning agenda action items and understand what data or additional information is needed to answer key business questions.
- Participate in execution of commercial mix modelling and lead review process of ongoing campaign data workstreams.
- Create presentations, for both internal and external parties, on media strategy, learning agenda, campaign performance and other initiatives as needed.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications or related equivalent experience.
- At least 2-4 years experience in experience in advertising and media planning at an advertising agency or in-house advertising/marketing communications department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Proficient in the use of web and advertising analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL or other programming languages a plus.
- Proficiency in privacy laws, site pixels and vendor tag management a plus.
- Demonstrates key competencies to include driving results, decision quality, and ensuring accountability.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Social & Digital Media. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

As our Senior Media Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days.
