Senior Database Administration Engineer: Hybrid position; must work at least 2 days per week in the office and as needed
Approximately 40 hours per week; salary for this position is $191,000 - $201,000 per year
As a Senior Database Administration Engineer, support development and data intelligence teams in delivering client software. Develop policies, procedures and standards for database management. Design, configure and maintain cloud based and on-site databases. Solve production issues for database dependent solutions. Explore new technologies for existing SAAS solutions. Migrate solutions in AWS and Mongo Atlas. This is a hybrid position; must work at least 2 days per week in the office and as needed.
Must possess at least bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or work experience equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience with Database Administration using SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB, including the installation/configuration of new systems, managing security and maintenance of existing systems; at least 5 years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining high availability, load balancing and disaster recovery plans using peer to peer replication, transactional replication and always on; at least 5 years of experience scripting TSQL, Powershell, Python and automating tasks (monitors, audits, alerts, upgrades, backups, etc); at least 3 years of experience Scheduling automation with ActiveBatch/cron; at least 3 years of experience working with SQL Replication, HVR, Snowflake and Kafka to replicate data between heterogeneous database platforms; at least 3 years of experience working with AWS RDS and Aurora / Mongo Atlas and MySQL/VMware VMC; at least 3 years of experience working with warehouse software offerings like Warehouse management system (WMS), Transport management system (TMS), Warehouse control system (WCS) and Labor management system (LMS) that control logistics, robotics & devices and human functions in a retail distribution center; and at least 2 years of experience using diagnostic tools like Foglight, perfmon, replication monitor and/or LogicMonitor for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

CABA solutions is looking for a Database Engineer to work on a small team that maintains multiple production and development databases in a unique and lively customer focused environment. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support to existing database servers by performing routine maintenance to include Administration, patching, and system security compliance actions.
Maintain multiple database clusters and provide direct support to system administrators and developers by creating SQL queries and modifying existing queries to accommodate operational changes.
Create and modify stored procedures in existing databases as required by various development teams.
Must be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and the MSQL Server Management Studio tool set.
Assist developers with designing databases to include database schema development and view design.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 12-15 years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Five (5) to ten (10) years' of experience and a DBA or DBE with a Security+ (CE) certification.
TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
Currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - Database (MCSE-DB)
Microsoft Certified IT Professional - MS SQL Server (Database Developer 2008)
IBM CASA Lotus Notes/Domino (LND)
