Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Delivery: The primary responsibility is to transport cakes from the bakery or cake shop to the specified delivery location. This may involve delivering to homes, businesses, or event venues.
Safety: Ensure the safe transportation of cakes to prevent damage. This includes careful driving to avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, and rough handling of the cakes.
Timeliness: Deliver cakes on time, as scheduled, and in accordance with the delivery timeline provided by the bakery or customer. Punctuality is crucial in ensuring that cakes are delivered fresh and ready for the intended event.
Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. This includes checking the brakes, lights, tires, and other essential components.
Navigation: Familiarize yourself with the delivery routes and use navigation tools or GPS to find the fastest and most efficient way to reach delivery destinations.
Customer Service: Be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. Provide excellent customer service, answer any questions, and handle payment, if required.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that cakes are delivered in the same condition as when they left the bakery. Handle cakes with care and prevent any damage during transportation.
Communication: Stay in contact with the bakery or dispatcher to provide updates on your delivery progress and report any issues or delays.
Problem Resolution: Handle any customer complaints or issues that may arise during the delivery process professionally and promptly. Report any significant problems to the bakery or management.
Requirements:
1. Class 3 Driving License (Singapore)
2. Familiar with routes in Singapore.
3. Ability to handle pressure.
4. Work on public holidays and weekends.
5. Singaporeans / PRs welcome to apply.
Working Hours:
9am to 4.30pm
Commission Based Salary Structure (Estimated about min 2.2K gross salary / mth)
Gross salary can be higher if deliver more.
6 days work week
