Position Description:
This position leads the PR team and works closely with the executive leadership team to build our brand and integrated communications strategy. Extensive experience is required in managing public relations, media relations, corporate reputation, crisis communications, and leading geographically dispersed teams. This position will act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and will work cross-functionally to support business leaders in delivering impact. Success will require passion for the work, innovative thinking, strong attention to detail, ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders, and excellent communication skills.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
•Work closely with company executives, key internal stakeholders across a matrixed organization, community partners, and agency consultants to maintain and strengthen Bondee’s brand and reputation through increased visibility, reinforcing company values, and driving positive community impact.
•Identify challenges and emerging issues facing the organization. Work with leadership team and staff to develop internal and external communications activities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies.
•Work closely with legal and government relations teams on potential crisis management.
•Serve as a trusted advisor and communication counselor to Bondee’s leadership team.
•Translate company strategic priorities, business objectives, and functional area initiatives into communication strategies – and effectively communicate and sell these strategies across the organization.
•Oversee integrated, proactive PR campaigns including press relations, product launches, corporate partnerships, social impact programs, crisis communications plans, press event management, and brand/market leaders’ speaking engagements.
Education, Experience & Skills:
•10 to 15+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications or related functions, demonstrating progressive career growth and a track record of performance.
•Crisis communication experience is essential.
•Experience in APAC region is essential.
