Responsible For: To actively participate in the product development process and collaborate with other development teams, product managers, and product owners in delivering high quality products to clients.

Background
This position will attach to the BI Delivery (Business Unit) of APAC and based in GDC of Cyberjaya.  BI Delivery is the centralized hub that fulfill the orders placed by clients worldwide as well as end clients of business partners of Experian APAC.  The key products delivered from BI delivery are Credit Reports and Search Reports.

We need an individual who is passionate and technically sound in the Microsoft .Net technology stack with knowledge in Cloud-Native development principles. The individual must possess at least 3 years of working experience with diverse skills in Agile application development.

Role Summary

As a Master Data Management Team Lead, you will be responsible for the set up and maintenance of product data in key systems such as Salesforce and Oracle financial systems. This will require establishing relationships across the world and advising on product inclusion, product structure and related data elements. This will require an understanding of Experian’s complex product and business hierarchies as well as similar products in other regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Measuring data quality improvements and revising, documenting, and formalizing data standards and processes on an ongoing basis. • Work with business partners to create processes to meet their product business needs participating in actions from clarifying the need, brainstorming solutions to implementation
• Review product submissions for completeness, quality and adherence to standards
• Entering product updates and new products into Oracle DRM and Salesforce while coordinating alignment with other functions to ensure set up and alignment in those systems
• Perform data audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Identify data quality issues and provide resolution to correct the issues 
• Develop processes to address data issues to prevent them from reoccurring Responding to partner’s data questions
• Lead and coordinate large scale data migrations consolidate acquisitions onto the global platforms
• Lead meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates, best practices, training sessions and guidance on new product requests

Role Summary:

The Enterprise Master Data Management team is responsible for governing, coordinating and maintaining critical master data and other data related to customers, products, vendors, chart of accounts and additional key data elements across Experian's enterprise systems, as well as managing the quality and integrity of the content of the Enterprise Corporate Data Lake as the foundation for world-class business intelligence, analysis, insights and reporting. Our team members are spread out between Chile, Costa Rica, Malaysia, UK and the US.

Provide the economic steer to enable optimization of production, based on accurate, fit-for-purpose planning and scheduling models. Maximize the integrated margin for the site(s) and across different lines of businesses.

What’s the role?

• Running sensitivities in the linear program (LP – PIMS) to ensure the refinery operation is optimized between monthly operating plan (MOP) cycles.
• Determining break-even pricing and advising Trading and Supply on spot purchase and sale opportunities.
• Completing the annual business plan LP runs, including collection of key process operating constraints, product pricing and volume tier availability, evacuation limitations, to deliver an optimized Y+1 mass balance. Extrapolate into a full 10-year plan, considering planned future outages and material changes that will impact future margins.
• Assisting the Refinery Crude Economist in identifying LP model inaccuracies and general improvements to the Economic Model Coordinator.
• Work may include multiple LP runs including sensitivities and may also include the need to work with the Economic Model Coordinator to modify the LP to adequately assess the project or opportunity.
• Evaluating the economic benefit of recently completed margin-generating opportunities and entering Trackers to enable broader tracking of the margin growth funnel. Close coordination with the Refinery Business Development Lead to ensure timely delivery. Communicating same to the Economic Model Coordinator for inclusion in Margin Variance Analysis (MVA)
• Acting as focal point for Business for the Refinery margin forecasting process (LE – latest estimate), which involves coordination with Finance and central performance analysis teams.
• Serving as key provider of benchmarking data on behalf of Business for external requests, i.e., Solomon.
• Providing vacation coverage and back-up support for the Refinery Crude Economist (whose vacation will generally be scheduled outside of peak workload demands, i.e., MOP) as well as providing vacation coverage for certain duties of the Economic Model Coordinator (EMC).

Role requirement

• Chemical Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 4 years in the Oil and Gas industry with at least two years of experience in Economics and Scheduling (operating refinery or petrochemicals plants preferred).
• Well versed with ASPEN TECH Planning Tools (PIMS) with experience in the Aspen Scheduling Tool (APS - optional) is desired.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Advance skill level in MS Excel.
• Understanding of IT technologies, Data Analysis techniques, databases, and reasonable computer programming skills is a plus. Fully versed with MS Office suite of software (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Understanding of refinery unit processes mandatory.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken English & Chinese. Candidate with proficiency to converse in Mandarin / Cantonese would be an added advantage. Passing SPM Chinese subject is a MUST.

• Time management skills.

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.

• Good commitment at work, good attitude, willing to learn.
