The Company Our client is looking actively for a Payroll & Accounts Support Officer, to cover a maternity leave for a 12 months fixed term contract. The Role Payroll & HR Support: - Preparation of monthly payroll for 25 to 30 employees (Aus & only 1 in NZ) - Act as the main point of contact for HR and payroll queries. - Handle HR administration, including policies, records, and documentation. - Provide administrative support, including IT assistance and visa processing. - Prepare and process visa applications for engineers travelling internationally. Accounts Payable: - Liaise with the Service team, review time sheets, and collate accurate information. - Enter timesheets, subcontractor invoices, and relevant data for invoice generation. - Collate costs for invoice generation, including local purchases, travel expenses, and machine warranties. - Enter subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring proper filing. - Provide administrative support to the General Manager and other departments Your Profile Payroll preparation knowledge Accounts Payable - Engineering's timesheet processing and invoicing customers MYOB would be a plus HR experience would be beneficial Benefits: Teams is amazing Flex work - 2-3 days in office Mixed role between Payroll/HR & AP 2 months handover - happy to train Apply Today Please send your resume by clicking on the apply button. This is a great opportunity for an experienced but ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join dynamic & supportive firm. This is a maternity cover role for 11 months. The Role Full function Accounts Payable duties Management of the AP inbox including Employee Expenses Providing feedback to branch or supplier regarding errors on invoices including approvals, supporting documents etc. Entering supplier invoices into the accounts payable system Processing employee expense claims Processing both domestic and international payments Assisting with the preparation of customer consolidated invoices Bank reconciliations Reviewing the general ledger for transactional accuracy Maintain financial information, files and records (e.g. copies of paid invoices) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
