Responsibilities

• Design a variety of digital assets such as electronic direct mailer (EDM), web pages, apps, animated banners, and other assets used in the social media space
  Responsible for technical and graphical aspects of website

Requirements 

• Candidate must possess a Diploma / Degree in Art / Design / Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications, Advertising /Media or equivalent.
• Highly proficient knowledge of design tools to model requirements and software system designs producing comprehensive documentation, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Graphics App & other major software for graphic design
  Superb design sense with knowledge in brand identity, typography, photography, basic understanding of technical areas (eg. printing, pre-press, paper materials, digital social media requirements), coding of website, EDM and print development
• Capable in handling multiple concurrent tasks and able to work under tight deadlines

You would be working alongside journalists, developers, designers, and editors to create original digital content for our readers. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with journalists and data visualisation developers to understand requirements and translate them into visual designs that accurately represent the underlying data, editorial angle or product request
• Assist in designing, illustrating and prototyping data visualisations, visual stories, social media assets using various tools and technologies
• Collaborate with the UX team to ensure that interactive graphics are user-friendly, responsive, and accessible across various devices.
• Help to document the design process, including any issues or challenges encountered during the design stages
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate our interactive content.
• Carry out investigative journalism/research with journalists using data, including conducting interviews and finding/verifying data sources
• Use various statistics and data science tools for data parsing, scraping and wrangling
• Manage workflow and process for data-driven stories in the newsroom
• Thoroughly test and troubleshoot interactive graphics to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.

Requirement

• The ideal candidate will be proficient in: Figma, Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), HTML, CSS and JavaScript (d3.js, WebGL and Svelte are a plus).
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modelling and rendering software and familiarity with 2D illustration.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), spatial analysis tools, and data visualisation platforms are a plus.
• Experience with augmented reality (AR) design is a plus.
• Excellent creative and artistic abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
• Familiarity with the news industry and an interest in current events.
• Experience in managing time effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the quality of work.
• Prior experience in a data visualisation role / visual storytelling will be preferred

To plan and provide an Art/Drama/Music Therapy service for the Relevant CAMHS Team. To receive and assess referrals for treatment appropriate to Art/drama/music therapy from the Relevant CAMHS Team. To carry out assessments and provide Art/drama/music therapy for individuals and groups, for children, adolescents and their families with complex, severe and enduring mental health problems and to regularly evaluate the therapy. This will include the responsibility for prioritising treatment based on the relevant CAMHS Team criteria, to deliver an effective and equitable service, within available resources, and liaison with other arts psychotherapists in CAMHS in order to provide a wider range of arts psychotherapies, if appropriate. To provide specialist Art/drama/music therapy individual and/or group sessions using advanced levels of skill, as the primary intervention, or as part of patients treatment programmes. To create and develop specific art/drama/music therapies practices relevant to this area of practice including attachment, communication and development disorders, and childhood trauma, mood and behavioural disorders. To adapt and deliver models of art/drama/music therapy practice congruent with the treatment approach of patients specific care plans, and team philosophy. To plan and organise training and education for students and staff and be part of the induction of others re the art/drama/music therapies. To work as an autonomous practitioner and as a member of a Multidisciplinary Team. To provide consultation, clinical and reflective supervision for other practitioners, therapists and students where appropriate and clinical supervision to members of other professions as and when required. Manages budget for maintaining art/drama/music therapy service and other use of arts equipment & materials by MDT Manages safety overview of materials and equipment under control of the art/drama/music therapist. Implements policies and procedures or changes to working practices for own work area. Participates in the development and implementation of evidence based effective practices in the service including NICE guidance.
