MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review, implement and manage relevant project operational processes, procedures and controls of the business line, consistent with the firm’s strategies and values.
· Work with project managers to improve operational efficiency and business growth. Identify issues encountered by project team when executing the projects.
· Assist in rolling out of new system & project delivery initiatives and ensure adoption of best project management practices, including change management.
· Enhance the capability of all PMs through PM training.
· Analyze project performance, utilization and take remedial actions. Periodic project reviews including margin and budget reviews by responsible directors and managers.
· Monitor and work with PMs on appropriate utilization of project software and identify opportunities for savings through responsible software usage.
· Review effectiveness of risk management, compliance and ethnics procedures and develop new procedures where necessary.
· Liaise with Global Risk, Ethnics and Compliance Officer (Asia Pacific) on corporate polices and queries.
· Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 10 years of business operations experience in Engineering/Consulting sector
· Degree or equivalent qualifications
· Able to apply Business Controls and Major Project Controls Management skillsets
· Strong process-orientation mindset and analytical skills
· Good team player and able to lead a small team
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· High integrity and ethical attribute
