Job description:
As the leading role of MEMSonics Technology Development in Bulk Acoustic Wave Device (BAW), the candidates play key design role in development key technology in MEMS bulk acoustic wave filter for consumer electronics from new concept, verification to mass production.
The candidate will be responsible in leading and participate in overall technology development, including overseeing the development operation and evaluating them according to established goals including device modelling, material’s verification, identifying further improvement works in MEMSonics BAW’s activity.
The position requires a strong track record and experience with BAW device physics, BAW filter’s principles, research operation and technology management.
Responsibilities:
- Co-working with international team including China, Singapore and Europe on a cross-disciplinary team basis
- Lead the effort in BAW (Bulk Acoustic Wave) device modelling, material characterization, resonator performance improvement
- Set goals for new solution including implements new device concepts & relevant process development
- Lead effort in BAW data analytics in FEM and foundry data and provide insights
- Design and development of high-end resonator structures, quality factor optimization of MEMS designs with supported fabrication activity
- Perform simulation and modelling, optimization based on customer’s requirement.
Qualifications/Desired skills:
- Broad understanding of RF analog component performance characterization via Smith Chart, tuning via passives, etc
- Extremely familiar with the fundamental device physics and have the ability to apply advanced modelling techniques.
- Strong skill in EM modelling and RF simulation tools Solid background in resonator/filter design, simulation, finite element analysis, layout, and package design
