About this role:
In this role you will support the development and execution of Customer Communication Programs and Automations in Japan. You will play a hands-on role in building customer journeys and data automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and contributing to the management and support of the HP customer lifecycle journey, including but not limited to the deployment of new customer data integration initiatives, developing CRM campaigns and highly personalized multi-channel programs to enhance HP customer experiences.
With an objective of growing HP’s engaged customer base, you will work closely with stakeholders in Japan and within the International Customer Management team (Platform, Analytics, CRM, Data), to develop an ecosystem of automated touchpoints for HP’s Japan customers.
You will join the International Customer Management team responsible for customer strategy, base value, monetization, and brand consideration. As part of Digital Direct organization, you will support strategic direct to customers transformation. Scope:
Support the development and implementation of HP Japan across customer integration, customer data mapping and enable effective use of CRM platform features to improve customer acquisition, customer value, growth and or reducing customer attrition and churn
Deliver extensive and effective customer data integration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud by partnering with CRM data architecture, analytics and business stakeholders
Act as the internal SME and advocate for CRM, Marketing Automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Collaborate and build strong stakeholder relationships and adopt cross collaboration across other relevant teams, functional areas, and external vendors
Performing day-to-day management and implementation of the marketing automation functions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email, Push, SMS, Advertising Audiences, and form/webpage creation through CloudPages
Maintain SFMC in APJ instance and processes to ensure data integrity and efficiency
Build, test, deploy and execute highly personalized emails through end-to-end testing, HTML, and AMPscript
Assist campaign specialists and stakeholders by troubleshooting issues with daily automations, campaign development queries, data complexities using SQL, as well as those identified during campaign build and testing
Provide recommendations and improvements to generate increased performance from core KPIs such as acquisition and revenue drivers
Implementation of testing and optimization strategies to provide recommendations and drive continuous improvements
Required Experience:
5-7 years relevant experience / flexible to fit the right candidate covering 80% of requirements.
Business level Japanese and English is a must.
End to end campaign management and delivery using Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred), including - planning, development, execution and performance - processes with internal and external parties involved, supervision and development of platform operation, management of campaign execution and automation resources and agency, best practices and budget.
Experience leading the development and execution of personalized direct communication programs at scale through email channel and other inbound and outbound channels (onsite, push, in-app, SMS, digital advertising, call centers, sales reps, etc).
Full ownership of data integration, campaigns and programs securing excellence in experience standards. Working with central and local stake holders, management of portfolio of initiatives and international email campaign calendar. Leadership of performance reviews.
Experience creating highly responsive direct customer and communications. On direct marketing, on brand, on channel best practices with unique combination of creativity and effectiveness. Design background a plus. Master email marketing communications, comfortable writing and/or reviewing copy, HTML and AMPscript knowledge desirable.
Project Management, involving handling multiple stakeholders across functions, geographies, and skills, combined with a business focused outlook.
Strong data-driven mindset, with experience with SQL, with experience in campaign analytics and performance measurement. An understanding of data integration, data feeds and automation to enable campaign automation & personalization.
Experience working with data analytics and post-campaign reporting to support the development and automation of dashboards, campaign analysis and stakeholder reporting.

Key Accountabilities:
Actively promotes and sells sales products. Responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit targets of approved business plans.
Develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to grow sales revenue and profitability and customer satisfaction.
Plans and proposes business plans on sales, including revenue and profit planning and organization development, and executes after approval.
Makes business forecasts according to group and company requirements.
Supervises, supports and monitors sales activities of Service Partners with Sales Right (if applicable) under the company’s RRS distributorship to ensure company’s sales targets and other business objectives are met.
Provide market view on product requirements.
Ensures proper handling of incoming engine/genset orders including cost and profit calculation, order processing and invoicing. Coordinates in-company supports on logistics and customer delivery requirements.
Prepares cost and profit calculation sheet for sales orders and projects and ensures project implementation without unfavorable deviation. Supports project costing and profitability checks by Finance Dept.
Builds and further develops local independent application competencies. Ensures a high level of satisfactory application support to customers.
Prepares necessary reports and information updates according to the group’s and company’s routines.
Actively monitors, analyzes, reports and takes necessary actions on market environment changes affecting sales business, e.g. trend of industry and related legislations, issues related to customers and competitors which could cause an impact to the business, etc.
Monitors and reports potential risks of company especially matters with financial and compliance from a sales and marketing perspectives.
Supports RRS subsidiaries on global, regional or in-country projects related to sales and marketing.

What a Business Development Leader in Merchant Sales & Acquiring team does at Visa
As a Director, you will lead the sales and account management and be commercially responsible for managing one of the largest clients in Japan, with driving new physical in-store acceptance and new consumer and commercial payments opportunities (e.g. on-loop transit, small business and commercial money movement). You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the client’s organization and leverage your expertise and insights to provide them with strategic guidance and support. Working in a high performing team, you will identify new opportunities to help expand our joint business across core consumer payments, value added services and new flows. You will also work closely with various internal and external stakeholders from a range of functions including product, sales marketing, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of the client and their customers. You will:
