Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and build close relationships with existing and new customers by spending extra time prospecting, developing, and generating client referrals.
- Assist the Account Manager to deal register, negotiate better prices and draft project quotations, in order to surpass the sales target every quarter.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via phone call and email.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into potential sales by understanding the needs and wants.
- Follow up closely on all opportunities quoted to customers by utilizing the ERP system feature to track and trace the quotation history.
- Emphasize product and service features and benefits to customers including cross-selling and upselling relevant IT solutions/products.
- Support marketing efforts to organize and execute the events which help to promote the company branding and build strong networking relationships.
- Effective time management including ensuring goods and services has been delivered on time and completing the report required.
- Develop possible problem solution paths, and take the appropriate course of action when facing issues.
- Update the License Renewal Report so that licenses that are going to expire will be aware and renewed.
- Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
Requirements
- Knowledge of IT industry and solutions - hardware, software and services is an added advantage
- Have experience or deep interest in Sales/Telesales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Admin or equivalent.
