A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Manager (Data Centre) like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities:
Face to the Customer - over the whole project timeline from contract signature until commissioning and customer handover of the installation
Responsible for planning, monitoring and securing all of the critical aspects - cost, timeline and quality of the project
Ensuring that the project is delivered on-time, with the expected scope and within budget
Coordinating internal resources, vendors and service partners for the flawless execution of projects
Reviews/clarify customer’s specifications & tender documents together with team co-workers.
Visits the customers for the commercial & technical assistance/clarification of the project, application engineering and drawings/documents.
Coordinates with RRPS factories, locations and local suppliers for scope of supply.
Consultation of customer for project solutions of MTU Solutions
Sets timelines & coordinates with all involved parties (Sales, Application Engineering, Service, etc.) during the projects
Oversees and communication together with purchasing & external suppliers/contractors.
Provides/coordinates replies to the technical inquiries with team co-workers.
Prepares and provide customer project related documentation & presentations where materials are coming for respective oversea locations with getting support from application engineer.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Manage system SAP 4 HANA from end to end according to customer requirement.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Support sales team for pre-order stage of project
Continuous improvement of project execution process and tools among team
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Project Management related field
Minimum 3 years of experience with project management experience and/or team-leading experience
Hands on experience in using SAP/ERP
Good communication in Japanese and English skills
Excellent attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed well.
Willing to travel within Japan, and overseas whenever necessary.
Good to have growth/team player mind set to lead team as future potential candidate of Manager of Project Management
