Intern will support enterprise Strategic Planning efforts, including the enterprise-wide Community Health Needs Assessment process covering more than 20 locations and community engagements.
Summary
Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Job Description
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to execute and mature the Community Health Needs Assessment program. The position will help engage community members, partnering health systems, and Public Health departments to prioritize needs, identify resources available through community discussions, and develop implementation strategies to improve community health. Develop presentation materials and reports outlining needs for local community stakeholder and hospital leadership meetings. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

Qualifications
Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
