4.     Computer Literate – strong Excel skills in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables and other analysis related functions) and accounting system such as SQL.

5.     Experience working in hotel industry or manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards will be an added advantage

• Execute events and activities according to the Master Schedule (equip IBO with relevant skills).

RESPONSIBLE :

• Analyzing recipes to determine the cost of each ingredient used. 
• Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to monitor food costs & identify was to reduce waste and improve efficiency with involvement of inventory management strategies and purchasing practices to lower food costs. 
• Collaborate with chefs to create menus that balance cost-effectiveness with customer preferences. Eg: recommend menu adjustments, such as adding high-profit items or removing low-profit items to maximize profitability. 
• Setting menu price that reflect the cost of ingredient, labor and overhead expenses while remaining competitive in the market. 
• Analyze, review and cross checking on Sales Quotation, Event Order internal breakdown to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the food quality and pricing.
• To involve in quantifying daily operation raw material ordering.
• Other Ac hod duties that assigned by the Manager.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must be able to accurately calculate food costs for recipes and menu items 
• Must be detail - oriented and organized to keep track of purchases and prices
• Must be familiar with food service industry standards and best practices for controlling costs.
• Must have good communication skills to work closely with chefs, purchasing departments and other staff to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Must be proficient in using computer software and spreadsheets to keep track of food costs and analyze data. 
• Purchasing / good receiving background will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in coordinating day-to-day operational activities to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including kitchen, front-of-house, and management to streamline operational workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure timely procurement and optimal stock availability, while minimizing waste and shortages.

JOB DESCRIPTION;

• The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper. An AssistantExecutive Housekeeper is familiar with all duties of the housekeeping department, and is responsible for training of staff and planning their work schedules.
• He/she is responsible for the observation of quality standards and their accomplishments, particularly the controlling of the rooms´ cleanliness.
• The role also includes maintaining the high standards of cleanliness of public areas as well as back-of-house areas. Maintenance issues with furniture, fittings and equipment are immediately reported to the head of department.

KEY TASKS;

• To report to the Executive Housekeeper on the daily running of the Department during his/her shift.
• To supervise Room Supervisors in their daily jobs and ensure rooms is cleaned and released as per the resort standard established by the Executive Housekeeper.
• To coordinate with Engineering department on the repair and upkeep of the rooms.
• To carry out training for all Room Attendant on monthly basis.
• To ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance in all areas under Housekeeping Department are met.

ESSENTIAL & REQUIREMENTS;

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM, diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/HotelManagement or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must have good command of English, Malay and any other languages is an advantage.
• Must be able to use Microsoft word and Excel.
• Working experience in a similar position in a 5 Star Hotel for 2-3 years.
