In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the safety programs for several ongoing construction projects. The Construction Safety Specialist will have broad knowledge of Safety compliance programs and, where required, Safety specialty areas. This is a tactical role for site-wide Safety systems, Safety regulations, and best practices. This is a part-time (16-24 hours/week), fixed-term position for a duration of one year, renewable.
RESPONBILITIES:
Champion a strong safety culture across the site and maximize personnel involvement in Safety related activities.

Pay Transparency:
For the Construction Safety Specialist position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $93,787.20– $148,865.60, $45.09/hr - $71.57/h, limited-term, non-exempt. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/Flexforce employees are NOT bonus eligible).

Our work is focused on energy sector projects and encompasses all phases of project lifecycle from concept development through decommissioning. This includes technical advisory and due diligence for projects during development and financing, construction monitoring, performance testing, periodic O&M and operating budget reviews, decommissioning, expert witness, and restructuring activities. The Construction Tech is responsible for supporting the coordination, execution, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of various civil wellsite construction projects related to the drilling of oil and gas wells. This role reports directly to the Senior Construction Foreman.

Consults with and provides direction to contract surveyors as required to lay CTB and flowline ROW for the best possible outcome from both a surface and downhole standpoint.
Ensure that wellsite construction work meets all applicable laws rules and regulations.

Works with various regulatory agencies to ensure proper siting and construction of well sites.
