What you will do
As a member of the technology organization, the automation engineer provides testing leadership for our suite of software products. These products range from web-based applications, and micro-services (i.e. RESTFUL APIs), to embedded software devices. The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Interfaces with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Developers, End Users, and Scrum Masters. Experience with writing, developing, and executing test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
Web API testing experience with POSTMAN, JMeter, and Blaze Meter.
Practical Linux knowledge - command set, processes, shell scripting.
Experience in functional/feature testing, fail-over, performance/load, end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
Ability to lead and help the team in building Automation Test strategy and work towards on-time QA deliverables.
Working knowledge in verifying data in relational and non-relational databases i.e. Oracle, MYSQL, Mongo, Cassandra, and Big Query.
