• Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote the EDDC"s initiatives, events, and achievements.
• Manage and update the EDDC"s website to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and a user-friendly experience.

2. Content Creation and Updating:

• Write and edit written content for various communications materials such as news articles, press releases, and reports.
• Develop graphical content, including infographics, videos, and images, to accompany announcements, press releases, and social media posts.
• Update corporate presentations and soft-copy marketing materials

3. Event Support and Outreach:

• Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and conferences to promote EDDC"s mission and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize outreach and participation in events.

4. Annual Report Preparation:

• Compile content, statistics, and achievements to prepare EDDC"s annual report. Edit, copywrite and organise content in order to showcase our progress and impact in drug discovery and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor"s degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or related field, alternatively a Life Science degree with relevant work experience in communications and/or marketing
• At least 3 years of working experience in digital communications including content creation, and digital marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling copy
• Good graphical design skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics
• Experience with communicating and marketing through LinkedIn, including use of its backend and analytics tools
• Familiarity with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress), graphical design tools like Canva or the Adobe suite
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of drug discovery, and/or the bio=pharmaceutical industry is a big plus.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
