The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) has an opening for the Business Area Lead/Branch Manager of a new Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) Branch in the Electronic Warfare Division. The Branch Manager will manage a team of subject matter experts in networking, communications, cyber, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and data analytics. The MDC2 Branch Manager will report to the EW Division Manager.
The MDC2 branch’s primary offices are in Arlington, VA and St. Petersburg, FL. Other locations for the Branch Manager’s home office will be considered if the Branch Manager is willing to travel to these branch locations (approximately 25% travel).
Primary Responsibilities:
Create new and innovative technical concepts to capture and execute a portfolio of programs in the areas of networking, communications, artificial intelligence/machine learning, cyber, and data analytics.
Program capture and proposal activities to grow the branch program portfolio, including serving as technical lead and/or capture lead for specific opportunities.
Overall program execution, profit and loss, and business financial goals for the branch portfolio of programs and pursuits.
Cultivate strong customer relations at various levels in the US Government and the defense industry.
Hiring, promotion and reward authority in accordance with manager review and approval.
Communication at all levels in the corporate and customer community.
Employee performance management, mentoring, coaching, and team communications.
Adherence and compliance with the Leidos Business Framework policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated business development mindset with in-depth experience in the development of technology roadmaps and business growth strategies.
Demonstrated domain expertise in one of more of the following areas: networking, communications, AI/ML, cyber, and data analytics.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
Proven track record in project management.
Knowledge of Government contracting practices and current acquisition trends.
At least 7 years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
Master’s degree in an engineering or science discipline with at least 12 years of prior relevant experience.
U.S. citizen with an active Secret Collateral clearance and eligible for SCI access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in managing Department of Defense research efforts, including DARPA, IARPA, AFRL, ONR, and similar customer research and development organizations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous efforts while keeping efforts on schedule and on budget.
Prior experience in leading successful business development campaigns. Demonstrated skills include the ability to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and develop technical white papers and proposals.
Doctorate degree in an engineering or science discipline with at least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
U.S. citizen with active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

The Market Analyst supports all aspects of marketing and financial analysis related to clients’ group benefit programs. The Market Analyst works closely and collaboratively with Account Manager(s) and Benefits Consultant(s) to produce benefit and financial illustrations that allows clients to properly evaluate their benefit plans.
Responsibilities:
Creates detailed reports and presentations of marketing information
Prepares accurate market exhibits for proposal responses, quarterly and annual client meetings
Fully completes the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
Assists the Account Manager with carrier negotiation process
Works with the Account Manager to review client utilization reports and identifies opportunities for plan design and product changes, based upon utilization patterns
